Triking and a New Project

Alice now has a tricycle. She loves it and has already scared her parents by tricycling down minor hills at terrifying speeds -- hence the helmet.

We have removed the suspended ceiling, ceiling tiles, paneling, and fiberboard that had covered the original plaster in the guest bedroom. Next step: scraping off tar/adhesive. We think that maybe this wall had once been as beautifully carpeted as our basement was...
