Alice can't wait to get into this new tea. She hopes it will cure her mother who since last weekend has been tired and crabby due to a nasty cold.



Anne is back in school now after a lengthy Christmas break. Her parents and grandmother came to visit and babysit during her first day of class and Bill's second day at his new job.

Actual Illinoisans

Alice's cousins, Sophie and Niccolo, returned safely home to Illinois but not before at least one good sledding experience at their grandparents' home in Ely.
